Meetings are open to members as well as non-members. We also have an Iron Pigs baseball game in June.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are a non-profit corporation, largely funded through the generosity of our Sustaining Company Members. See our Sustaining Company Members page.<\/li>\n<li>We\u00a0 encourage our member foundries to support those suppliers who have supported our\u00a0 organization.<\/li>\n<li>LVFA is a Titanium Level contributor to the Foundry Educational Foundation, with a $30,000 endowment which has granted over $18,000 in scholarships since 2006, to Penn State student in our field.<\/li>\n<li>LVFA also has recently partnered with the National Museum of Industrial History in Bethlehem, PA with a $2,500 grant to support their &#8220;Metal Melting for Kids&#8221; program.\u00a0 This program, similar to AFS Foundry in a Box, is available to over 3,000 school children who visit the museum annually on field trips.<\/li>\n<li>LVFA has also donated $5,000 to the National Museum of Industrial History&#8217;s project to create a computerized learning kiosk with information about the history, future, and careers in the iron and steel industry.\u00a0 This donation received a matching grant from the Association for Iron and Steel Technology, AIST, located in Warrendale, PA for a $10,000 impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Become a 2025-2026 LVFA member today!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>LVFA.ORG website security&#8230;your browser likely indicates this website is &#8220;not secure&#8221;.
