The Lehigh Valley Foundrymen’s Association was formed 75 years ago to advance the knowledge of the local foundry industry at the first line management level.  We meet the first Thursday of the month from October through May at Heights Athletic Club, Bethlehem.  Regular meetings include a social hour, full dinner and an industry-related speaker. Meetings are open to members as well as non-members. We also have an Iron Pigs baseball game in June.

  • We are a non-profit corporation, largely funded through the generosity of our Sustaining Company Members. See our Sustaining Company Members page.
  • We  encourage our member foundries to support those suppliers who have supported our  organization.
  • LVFA is a Titanium Level contributor to the Foundry Educational Foundation, with a $30,000 endowment which has granted over $17,500 in scholarships since 2006, to Penn State student in our field.
  • LVFA also has recently partnered with the National Museum of Industrial History in Bethlehem, PA with a $2,500 grant to support their “Metal Melting for Kids” program.  This program, similar to AFS Foundry in a Box, is available to over 3,000 school children who visit the museum annually on field trips.
